Download Sn0wbreeze v2 8b9 To Jailbreak iOS 5 0 1 Beta On Windows

Apple seeded iOS 5.0.1 beta day before yesterday to address battery issues with some minor bug fixes. Today, @iH8n0w has pushed an update to his Windows exclusive custom iOS firmware creation tool i.e Sn0wbreeze v2.8b9 which supports iOS 5.0.1 beta 1 jailbreak on iPhone 4/3GS, iPod touch 3G/4G and original iPad. No support for iPad 2 or iPhone 4S though. Since this jailbreak is once again tethered, iBooty is required to boot into jailbroken state after each reboot.

Fixed iBooks sandbox crashing issues.
Fixed location services issues with iPhone 3GS
Re-added iPad baseband install option to iPhone 3GS.
Removes UDID requirement/Beta timer in 5.0.1.
Tethered devices are booted via iBooty which is extracted to the Desktop after running Sn0wBreeze

Sn0wbreeze Updated To v2 9 3

iH8sn0w has updated Sn0wbreeze to v2.9.3 with Apple TV support and bugs fixes. This version is mainly for users who dumped their SHSH blobs. On the initial boot, the Apple TV may have a black screen for 60 seconds after setting up the Apple TV. This is normal.

Sn0wbreeze v2.9.3 comes with:

Added Apple TV 2 support for iOS 4.4.3/4.4.4.
Fixed rare issues with iOS 5.0.1 where it would halt on the Apple upon boot.

Sn0wbreeze v2 8b4 Jailbreaks 5 0 beta 3

As you know if you read some of the earlier posts iOS 5 beta 3 is out now for developers. You can jailbreak it now using either redsn0w or newly updated sn0wbreeze. iH8sn0w just released version 2.8b4 as you can see in this tweet. I will leave you guys with the rest of the information below.

Those wondering, the jailbreakme exploit
cannot be integrated into applications
such as PwnageTool/redsn0w/sn0wbreeze.

redsn0w seems to be having sandbox errors
due to it using the old b1 kernel.
I and many others have not seen any issues
with sn0wbreeze related to AppStore apps.
If you prefer to use redsn0w, I am sure
@MuscleNerd is working on a fix.
